However, I will an ASUS P5B motherboard and 2 GB of DDR2 RAM and 2.4 Core 2 Duo processor will run this adiquate for future games?

Not enough. For Crysis, you should get a 8800 GTS 320 MB, the Proly a little over budget ($ 260 on newegg.com).
